"Serenity" came out on dvd yesterday. Basically, in a nutshell, the show is a "sci-fi western," so imagine six shooters and horses mixed with space ships. Based on the Fox TV show "Firefly" by Joss Whedon, it only lasted maybe a dozen episodes, but due to incredible high dvd sales, a full length feature was created. Sadly, it also didn't do well in the box office, but if dvd sales are high, we might just get a sequel!
Everyone go out and pick up a copy of Serenity today. You will not regret it!
